Instructional Design
This
three-day workshop covers the entire course design process,
from planning
the project through to evaluating it. All three days
involve hands-on exercises and
practice, allowing participants to
apply what they learn.
Learning Objectives
Participants learn to:
Employ principles of adult learning
Analyze learners to target courses properly
Complete a task analysis to establish course content
Write course objectives
Create training plans for review and signoff
Develop course outlines
Define course modules and develop lesson plans
Select and use appropriate instructional methods (e.g. lecture,
y demo, exercises)
Design effective exercises
Design and develop course materials (e.g. training manual,
y instructors guide, job aids)
Design evaluation forms
Audience
Trainers and others responsible for course design, but
who have
no formal training
in course design.
